NAMPA -- Voters in Canyon County's two largest cities have decided to keep their current mayors.
Generally, it was a good election for incumbents in the Treasure Valley.
"Job's not finished. There's a lot of good things that we've started in the last eight years that I'd like to see come to completion," said Nampa Mayor Tom Dale.
Dale was a won his third term with more than 70 percent of the vote Tuesday.
Watch for Dale to back a new library and a new police station.
Caldwell Mayor Garret Nancolas has won a fourth term.
"We've had to overcome the stigma of crime, we've had to overcome the stigma of not being progressive, we've had to overcome the stigma of being a bedroom community. We're working hard to do that. We've come a long ways, we still have a ways to go," said Nancolas.
In races for the Boise City Council, challengers opposed to a streetcar proposal lost.
Incumbents Vern Bisterfeldt and Maryanne Jordan held onto their seats.
